The Hall of Fame Poles are closed

Results are in:

· The simple majority of 55% voted for “Why limit it at all? Let’s let everyone in”

· 11% of the voters liked 9/27/2007 which is the date that our Blog went live

· A surprising (to me) 44% voted for “Bob, stop being such a geek and just put the pictures in”. I think Cheryl voted several times for this candidate.

Because I was having trouble keeping the email distribution list straight, I built a master list for my own use. I think it’s correct, but if you see any errors or omissions in the “To” list on this email, please let me know. I’ll watch for bad addresses an duplicates, but help me out here. Thanks.

So back to Hall of Fame submissions. I’ll post Livvy’s credentials (I don’t want to say I’m proud, but I’ve had to buy larger hats and can only come into the house through the garage). This is not so I can brag, but rather an example of how I would like you to send your details in (anyone buying this?) Pictures would be tres cool, but don’t sweat it if you don’t happen to have any. Maybe we can take some pictures specifically for this purpose at a future meeting.

I was surprised and pleased to receive a copy of the judge’s notes from the draft test for Livvy. They were kind and supportive. I wish I had kept the notes from the time Livvy and I went along with the Bernise mountain dogs a few years ago to see what a draft test was like, but that performance was so miserable that the notes burst into flames as I held them in my hand. No really.
