If at any time during the test, the equipment breaks down in a manner that could not have been anticipated by the handler, the judges may allow the handler to make an emergency repair. The repair must be made within (10) ten minutes with materials that the handler carries or carries in the apparatus. The handler must make the repairs without assistance from others.
Right now, my backpack has scarf and other warm stuff for me, water and a folding bowl for Livvy in case the judges call for a water stop during the freight haul. (But be careful with water because two wets during the freight haul is a disqualification).
So I decided to add the following to my pack:
· Gorilla tape (like duct tape and you can fix almost anything with that)
· Swiss Army knife or multi-tool
· A zip cord or two
· Some strong twine
