First day of the New Year was perfect for a little draft training! Almost 50 degrees and no snow. Who'd believe it is January in New England? We had a good turn out and got in some great training.
The group is heading out for a freight haul in the photo below. All the dogs did a wonderful job.
This was the return trip. Eva and Duffy don't look like they are new to this, do they?
I think the pups are saying "cheese!"
Now they are a little tired. What a good looking group of brown, black, and landseer newfies!
We did a three minute down stay.
Mary Alice and Abby are navigating the removable obstacle.
We are hoping the weather holds out just a bit longer so that we don't have to pull those sleds out!
